FAME is hiring · A finances, administration and human resources officer (x/f/m)

FAME is an interdisciplinary festival featuring the work of women and gender minority artists, collectives and organizations, in dialogue with contemporary feminisms. The festival combines an international and local program, supporting not only established artists but also young French- and Dutch-speaking artists. The program is eclectic and cross-disciplinary, blending theater, dance, circus, performance, music, cinema and exhibitions, as well as conferences, workshops, master classes and panels.

Functions within FAME
Financial management
- Accounting management from A to Z: encoding of invoices and expense reports, encoding of bank statements and payroll in Winbooks accounting software.
- Payment of invoices and wages.
- Cash flow monitoring, contribution to budget preparation.
- Writing and submission of funding applications.
- Production of financial files to justify funding granted.
- Declaration of authors' copyright.
- Preparation of various periodic reports and annual accounts.
- Participation in streamlining all financial and administrative processes.

Administrative management
- Set-up of contracts with partners (distribution contracts, co-productions, collaboration agreements with companies, partner venues, ...) and with stakeholders (artists, ...).
- Manage event-related insurance.
- Manage catering and festival bookings.
- In collaboration with the artistic directress and production manager, support the management and development of the festival.
- Administrative management of funding applications.
- Collection of documents to be signed by general management.

Human resources management
- Administrative management of FAME payrolls (Dimona declarations, monitoring of employee absences, collaboration with social secretariat, payroll preparation, monitoring of C4s and other social documents, monitoring of leave entitlements, etc.).
- Drafting employee employment contracts, volunteer agreements and RPIs.
- Answering questions on social legislation from colleagues.
- Participation in the recruitment process (drafting and publication of job offers, selection of candidates, interviews, etc.).
- Participate in the reflection on internal organization and the creation of a professional HR climate in line with the festival's feminist and inclusive values.
Profile required
- You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, human resources or law
or
You have at least two years' experience in a similar position or as a project manager and are willing to learn and train.

- Knowledge of Winbooks is an asset.
- You have a perfect command of French and a good knowledge of spoken and written Dutch. Knowledge of English is an asset.
- You have a good command of IT tools (Microsoft Office, Google Drive).
- You are rigorous, reliable, organized and flexible. You enjoy working on several projects at the same time.
- You have good stress and time management skills.
- You have good analytical and communication skills.
- You are able to work independently and as part of a team.
- You have a good knowledge of the cultural landscape and living-arts management in Belgium (and more specifically in Brussels).
- You have experience and/or an affinity with the artistic sector.
- You are sensitive to the organization's feminist and inclusive values.
- You have knowledge of Belgian legislation and human resources management, or you are willing to train yourself (different types of contractualization possible in the associative or cultural sector, knowledge of the rules of joint commissions 304 and 329.02, declaration of copyright, ASBL laws, etc.).

· We offer you a part-time (50%) Contract of Limited Duration (salary in accordance with CP329.02, level 4.2) from March 2024, with the ability to work full-time during the month of the festival.
