To ensure a close relationship between the words chosen and the landscape, archival imagery and abstract forms imagined with graphic artist Anne-Lise Bachelier are projected onto Aurélie’s body. Catholicism, gender and sexualisation of the body, consumption… Aurélie dissects their rural childhood in a language specific to their birthplace; prudish, parsimonious, and loaded with references and double meaning.
