La Deuxième Scène d’Écarlate la Cie presents a multifaceted project designed in five acts to highlight and combat inequalities in rights and practices between men and women in the performing arts, featuring conferences, readings, academic studies and performances.
Today, we invite you to come and discover the works of students from the Visual and Graphic Communication workshop at ENSAV La Cambre, based on studies from acts 3 and 4 and new data from the 2024 statistical monitoring in the form of an exhibition.
As a reminder, ACT 3 is a quantitative study directed and carried out by ULIEGE. It includes statistical monitoring carried out by La Chaufferie-Acte1. It addresses, in particular, the presence of women in programming, in positions of responsibility in institutions and in the allocation of subsidies. ACT 4 is a qualitative study directed and carried out by UCLouvain, which looks at the performing arts through the prism of gender and diversity.
The opening will take place on Saturday, 13 September at 4 p.m. Guided tours will be organised for the occasion.
