A buffet will be prepared and served by the women of Occupation du Bonheur, followed by a discussion on the link between cooking and struggle.
For the past 4 years, the FAME festival has been working with undocumented women. Their struggle is rooted in demands and proposals for concrete collaboration. The women often cook together and feed entire assemblies on request. FAME has been able to offer meals cooked by undocumented women every year. So it was an obvious choice to create a moment of cooking and advocacy for our Toustes à table event. We’ll be serving a buffet by Occupation du bonheur, followed by a discussion on the link between cooking and the struggle.

Occupation du Bonheur
L'occupation du bonheur is a group of around fifty women and their children who have taken over a vacant building on the chaussée d'Alsemberg. Their aim: to raise awareness of their struggle and denounce living conditions deemed inhumane.
