The 2025 edition of FAME “toustes à table” has just come to an end.

This was our fourth edition, held against an already complicated budgetary backdrop, and announcements for next year make the future very uncertain. The festival will have to reinvent itself.
A short hiatus will allow us to rethink the format, the number of activities we are able to program, etc.

The FAME festival wishes to remain vigilant in terms of work ethics for its team and possible collaborations with venues, artists, etc. We have had difficulties this year, and we do not wish to repeat these situations.

We have already decided on the theme for 2026, which will be: the G(uerre) point, but contrary to what we would have liked, we can no longer launch a formal call for projects.
Last year, despite our intentions, no call for projects was launched. We need to be clear about how to work within a short timeframe during the year, and from now on we want to only propose things that we are able to achieve. We realize that a call for projects is currently too ambitious for the FAME team.

We are taking some time to reflect, until the end of December, to think, reinvent, and rest from the 2025 edition as well.

Programming ethics

1 · The FAME festival is a small team that does not work year-round. We will only respond if we are interested.
2 · We program around an annual theme ONLY.
3 · We take care to mix the programming of local and international artists.
4 · The festival exclusively broadcasts shows and does not produce them. We therefore only program shows that have already been completed or will be completed for the next edition and that we can see in their entirety prior to the festival.
5 · We receive many proposals for concerts. We are not a music festival, so we will not accept external proposals.
6 · We are keen to keep up with the latest developments in the creative world. You are welcome to invite us throughout the year to see work in progress or performances. If possible, we will be happy to come, but we cannot promise to include anything in the program.

2026 Theme

In 2026, FAME will be something between The Art of War, kung fu and the game of go, War and Peace, resistance and revolution, “combat postures” for the survival of the oceans or raising our heads against backlash, threats, or aggression, all based on the creations and reflections of women and people from gender minorities. In the collective imagination, war is “not a girl thing.” We want to highlight how women and gender minorities are taking up these issues.
Artists, thinkers, and mediation projects are working on these issues, and we want to create links between these reflections and works.
